Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! At this time I would like to share with you an overview of the music program and offerings this year.
In order to maximize music learning I will be taking the students grades K,1,2 together, grades 3,4,5 and grades 6,7,8 each group for 30 minutes of general music instruction based on the Vermont Core Standards.

In addition each group will come for an additional 30 minutes on the same day for the music that will be performed at the winter and spring concerts.

Because of the limited time I am at the school I cannot offer me teaching the students instrumental music lessons however, If there are students that take lesson outside the school day and can demonstrate their abilities to be proficient enough to perform , I will arrange for these students (of any grade) to be able to do so. For these students I will be making a 30 minute block in order to work with the training and preparation for the two yearly concerts.
